Our Story
Fourteen Hair Salon was created by Carrie and Roby Woobank, two established careers in the beauty industry with the same philosophy: respect the craft, keep learning, take care of your clients, and build a place where talented professionals can grow.
Experience Behind Fourteen
Carrie has spent more than two decades behind the chair in Little Rock. Before Fourteen, she owned Salon Scarlet in West Little Rock for ten years, growing it from a small space into an established multi-stylist salon. Salon Scarlet was the first salon in the state to bring Oribe to Arkansas. Carrie was named one of Little Rock Soirée's Women to Watch, and the salon won Best of Beauty for Best Cuts.
Roby comes from generations of hairdressers. His career took him from Seattle to New York City, where he assisted in Manhattan and worked in editorial and fashion, education, and alongside respected artists in the industry, before he settled in Arkansas. That path shaped his approach: strong fundamentals, constant education, and attention to detail.
Together, those two paths became Fourteen.
What We're About
Great hairdressing starts with understanding the person in the chair. We combine strong technical foundations with modern cutting, color, blonding, extensions, and styling, and we start with a real consultation so your hair works with your lifestyle, not just on the day you leave.
Education is part of our culture. Our stylists keep learning, and Fourteen hosts classes and collaboration for beauty professionals. We also wanted it to feel welcoming. High standards don't have to mean pretentious.
More Than a Hair Salon
Fourteen has grown into a home for independent beauty, wellness, and aesthetic businesses: Blue Rose Beauty & Brow Artistry, Blink Society, Bodywork by Katie, JG Noir Aesthetics, and The Refinery. Each is independently owned and operated, and together we share a space built around beauty, wellness, and entrepreneurship.

At its heart, Fourteen is about craft, education, relationships, and longevity. Our goal is simple: do excellent work, treat people well, keep learning, and build a place our clients and the professionals who work here are proud to call theirs.
